Chapel Sermons (mp3 format)

At DBTS preaching is a real priority. Not only do we emphasize careful academic preparation for preaching in all of our classroom instruction, we also work hard to model it in our chapel. Seminary chapel is held each week on Wednesday and Thursday mornings. Chapel services regularly include Dr. David Doran, the faculty, alumni of DBTS, other faithful pastors in the area, and significant fundamentalist leaders from around the country. During the Spring semester all of our graduating seniors also have opportunity to preach in chapel. All chapel sessions are recorded digitally. Select sermons are included here for your review. Other sermons can be purchased on CD. For more information contact us here. To download an mp3, right click the link and select "Save Target As" or "Save Link As."

    Biblical Christianity Series
Dr. David Doran presented this sermon series, “Biblical Christianity,” at Inter-City Baptist Church in February-March 2008. It focused on Fundamentalism and the truth of biblical separatism: its foundation, governing principles, history, and current state. It is a helpful blend of careful exegesis, historical perspective, and wise pastoral application.

We need to be tenaciously committed to the principles of biblical separation. However, we also need to know how those principles should be accurately and consistently applied in the context of church ministry today. Dr. Doran provides careful, balanced guidance as we face real battles. The proper response to these battles will make a significant difference in the long-term health and stability of the ministries we lead.
